Christmas Around the World

In December we celebrated Christmas around the world. We visited Mexico , Italy, Germany, the Netherlands , Sweden, Israel and the United States. The children hit pinatas in Mexico and put their shoes out in the hall for Sinterklaus to fill with goodies. In Israel they made dreydls and in Italy made pizza. In Germany children made Christmas trees and in Sweden learned about St. Lucia. This was so much fun and a great way to end 2012.

Last semester we wrote to donorschoose.org to ask if they would fund these learning music CDs for our classroom. After a few days we found out that Chevron bought the CDs for us. These are the letters that were a part of our thank you package.
